9/11 COMMUNITY FLAG

Sample Contribution Muriel Stockdale is working with Charlotte's Place, a new Community Center opened by Trinity Church to create a new flag entitled OUT OF MANY, ONE to honor the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

Here's how you can participate: Please send a patch of cloth representative of your heritage about 10" by 10" ideally in red, white or blue but any colors will do. Or you can send us a tracing of your hands or some fabric and your hand tracings. We will be cutting cloth into hand shapes and constructing a flag about 12 feet wide including hand prints and cloth from as many diverse people as possible to celebrate our UNITY IN DIVERSITY. If there is a special story to your submission please include it on a single type written page. I cannot guarantee that every piece will be used but we need a lot of pieces so we will try to include as many submissions as possible.
